Sean "Diddy" Combs' attorneys have filed a notice to appeal his conviction and 50-month prison sentence for transportation to engage in prostitution. Judge Arun Subramanian imposed the substantial sentence, along with a $500,000 fine and five years of probation, stating it was necessary to demonstrate that abuse of women "is met with real accountability. " Combs was acquitted on more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, despite prosecutors' allegations that he used his industry power to coerce girlfriends into sexual encounters with male escorts.
